In plain language: We collect only what we need to run the product, take payment, and stop abuse. Card numbers go to our payment provider (Dodo Payments), not to us. We do not sell your personal data.
This policy describes how Nakata (nakata.app) handles information for our products, including Pistachio, Sienna, and Nakata CLI (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account data: email, username, or access identifiers you use to sign in.
Payment data: handled by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). When you start a checkout we send your email address to the provider so it can issue your receipt. We receive order confirmation, product/plan, and amount. We do not store full card numbers.
Nakata CLI license data: email on the license, plan tier, device identifiers used for free trial / activation limits, and related logs.
Content you provide: prompts, text, and reference images you upload for generation or agent tasks.
Outputs: generated images or other results we store so you can access them (where the product offers a gallery).
Technical data: IP address, timestamps, error logs, and similar data needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
To provide the product you asked for (generation, coding tools, licenses, galleries).
To process purchases and deliver credits or plan access.
To enforce free-trial and device limits, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure.
To answer support requests.
To meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share with
Dodo Payments: payments and tax as merchant of record.
AI providers — prompts and needed inputs are sent so the model can produce a result (for image tools and, when you use your own key with Nakata CLI, your key may talk to your chosen provider directly from your machine).
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security.
Email delivery (when used) — license or support messages.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention
We keep account and product data while you use the Service and as needed for legal, tax, and abuse prevention. You may request deletion of personal data where the law allows; some records (for example payment proofs) may be kept longer if required.
5. Cookies and local storage
The website may use cookies or local storage for login, language, and basic preferences. You can clear these in your browser. The Nakata CLI app stores license and settings on your device (for example under your user folder).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Email support@nakata.app. We will respond within a reasonable time.
7. International transfers
We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand this may happen as needed to operate the product.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
